Accord Electric is a residential and commercial electrical contractor that has been serving the southern Minnesota area ever since founder Gerald “Huey” Helder started the business in 1984. Fast forward to 2019, and Accord Electric is now approaching its 35th year in business, making it one of the longest standing electrical companies in southern Minnesota.
Our licensed electricians provide expert installation, maintenance and repair services, as well as new construction by a team of highly-skilled, trained professionals. Our company mission is no different than most: we strive to offer quality and service that goes above and beyond. The difference is we refuse to settle for anything less.

Our staff has extensive experience in all facets of today’s construction methods and is committed to continuing education to stay up to speed with the continually evolving industry. Today we provide all elements of electrical construction and service including residential, light industrial and commercial properties. Accord Electric is an honored employer of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, a member of Local 343, and is also recognized as a valuable member of Power Partner of Minnesota.
In 2019, Accord Electric began its transition to new leadership by naming Jordan Barnes vice president. We are committed to making this transition seamless for our existing and new customers, and look to continue to improve upon the core values that lead us to our success.
